On the 7th June 2019, Rowen and Lameshree got engaged!
This wonderful couple is from Durban and came to Cape Town for a short break. While in Cape Town, Rowen wanted to pop the question. He contracted us for ideas but in the end, he knew all along what he wanted to do! They had previously visited Groot Constantia, which is a magical wine farm in the heart of the Constantia Valley. They had been wine tasting there before and shared special memories.
They have been together for 1 year and 9 months, so the time was right to be together forever!
Rowen booked a photographer through us to capture the proposal on film. These memories will be shared forever with family and friends.
On the day, this fabulous couple arrived at Groot Constantia. Lesley the photographer and us pretended to be part of a wine tour group, which would walk up the mountain. We did this so we could “show” him the way to go without giving any secrets away. Lameshree had no idea what was happening and happily walked with us to the ‘secret’ spot. After a short walk up the hill, we reached old baths and vineyards. We then let them go ahead so Rowen could have his big moment. We are all alone in this beautiful spot which was essential for Rowen. He was about to ask Lameshree to marry him when a cheeky cat decided it wanted to be part of the proposal. This was a funny moment and adds to the story. After some “shooing” of the cat, Rowen popped the question. She said Yes!
Lesley did a couples shoot in various locations, then they had a romantic lunch at Jonkershuis. We decorated the table for them with her favourite flowers and chocolates.
Rowen and Lameshree proposal at Groot Constantia was heaps of fun! We wish them all the best for their future together.
