On the 17th May 2019, Anthony proposed to the love of his life, she said yes!
This wonderful couple has been together for 5 years and Anthony knew it was time to pop the question. They both love the outdoors and he wanted it to be private, so after some discussing Cape Point Vineyards was chosen. He wanted ambience without trying too hard, thus it was the perfect venue.
This pretty venue is 100% private and hidden in the mountain! Njeri loves bright and fun colours so this is how we decorated the deck. We used fun ribbons, colourful flowers and hanging items to brighten up this blank canvas. She also loves tulips, which were just coming into the season, so we brought a bunch for her to keep.
Anthony asked us to arrange music, we asked Chris to play a few songs for them. Njeri loves music so this was a very important element. Kathryn was booked as the photographer as he loved her work. Photos were important, as he wanted her to capture the moment. These memories will be kept forever. The scene was set, all we needed was the day to arrive.
On the day, Anthony told us that surprise was key thus we needed to make it as believable as possible. We meet them at reception and drove them to the private deck telling her they had a picnic spot up in the mountains. She had no idea of what was about to happen…
They walked onto the deck and Chris started singing, while Kathryn took photos. Anthony asked her to marry him, she said yes! Njeri was SO surprised she nearly fell off the deck in excitement. It was a magical moment filled with tears and laughter. She was so surprised, which was great!!
They opened the bubbly and shared a picnic in celebration.
We wish this very happy couple all the best for the future. Anthony and Njeri private proposal was something that we will remember for a long time, we loved meeting this happy couple
