Terms & Conditions

Please read our general terms & conditions below. A more in-depth T&C’s form will be sent once payment is received and the event booked.

  • Full payment is required before event day; failing this the event cannot take place.
  • If a non-refundable deposit is required, please make payment within 7 days of the quote being sent.
  • At times we require refundable deposits for hired items, payment will be done to the client on return of items, if all in order.
  • Please note payments can be made via EFT’s, cash deposits and Paypal.
  • We are happy to chat about payment options and what the best method will be.
  • Credit card facilities are not available at this point.
  • Quotes expire after 7 days.
  • Overseas transactions: Due to high bank charges, we have to add on a small amount to cover costs.
  • Cancelling an event: we can offer a refund if no work has commenced.
  • Supplier’s cancellation fees and terms are taken into account.
  • If dates need to be changed due to unforeseen circumstances, we will chat about options.
  • Refunds: will be decided by The Perfect Proposal based on individual clients.
  • If an event is cancelled 7 days before the event, no refund is given.
  • If an event is cancelled on the day, no refund is given.
  • If an event runs after hours, we have the right to charge overtime.
  • Clients must sign contracts from our suppliers and venues; we cannot take responsibility for their T&C’s.
  • We do not take responsibility for any suppliers that are booked by clients directly.
  • Accommodation: It is the client’s responsibility to read over their cancellation policy and check all information is correct.
  • We do not take responsibility for any loss, damage, accidents or theft during our service and events.
  • Any loss of hired items will be the client’s responsibility and will be charged accordingly.
  • All goods and services hired by The Perfect Proposal, on behalf of the client, will be done with the consent of the client and at the client’s risk. Damages and breakage payments will be for the client’s expense.
  • We cannot be held responsible for any acts of God, during the events. (Wind damage, fire, floods)
  • We cannot be held responsible if the answer is NO; clients are not offered refunds or any guarantees. Please note we have never had a refusal.
  • Weather: we will chat to our clients about changing days, times or venues. A plan B will be put in place if available. We cannot be held responsible for poor weather and events are non-refundable if this is the case.
  • Food & drinks: alcohol is not allowed in public areas and we cannot be held responsible if taken away.
  • Alcoholic beverages will not be sold to anyone under the age of 18 years.
  • Non-alcoholic bubbly is offered if the client does not drink alcohol.
  • Any allergies or diet requirements must be stated in the Q&A form.
  • If an event of food poisoning or illness, The Perfect Proposal can not be held responsible.
  • All events are at one’s own risk.
  • Photographs: They are the property of the client and The Perfect Proposal. We ask our clients if they would like to share their photos, however we reserve the right to use deco shots and details of our work at our discretion.
  • No personal information is sold or distributed to third parties.
