Miguel and Sherryn Proposal

On the 23rd of October 2021, Miguel asked Sherryn to marry him.

This lovely couple has been together for 10 years, so it was time to take the next step.

Miguel knew he wanted to include a wine farm and helicopter trip, but needed some assistance with the choice of venue. We discussed some options and Klein Constantia fitted the brief.

Klein Constantia is a lovely old wine farm in the heart of the Constantia valley. The views from here are amazing, the Bistro serves delicious food and they offer wine tastings.

We set up in the wine cellar on the farm as the weather was not great on the top mountain deck. The wind was blowing and there were a few rain clouds around. The cellar is really a beautiful location for a romantic proposal. We hung a “marry me” sign at the entrance with huge bouquets of flowers on either side.

Sherryn’s favourite drink is GIN, so we created a gin gift box for her to take home and enjoy. We really love putting together gifts for our clients as this adds personal touches for the couple.

On their arrival at the cellar, Miguel dropped to his knee and asked her to marry him, she said YES! Sian our lovely photographer was hiding in the wing to capture it on film. After some celebrations, they ventured outside for the couples shoot.
