Kamal and Terusha marriage proposal

On the 20th of May 2021, Kamal and Terusha got engaged.

Kamal called us and wanted to spoil the love of his life. His brief to us was a helicopter trip to a venue where he could pop the question in private. Then have lunch and enjoy some celebrations, maybe a wine farm? We were so excited that Klein Constantia offered exactly what he wanted, thus the venue and idea were booked.

Klein Constantia wine farm is in the heart of the Constantia Valley. It is situated next door to Groot Constantia and is famous for its dessert wine, Vin de Constance. They claim it was drunk by Napoleon Bonaparte and others.

“Jane Austen and Charles Baudelaire referred to the wine in their writings, and it was favored by the likes of Frederick the Great, Napoleon Bonaparte, George IV of England, and Otto von Bismarck. Most of those fortunate enough to taste 19th-century bottles, including Michael Broadbent, are of the opinion that Constantia was fortified.”

On the day, this lovely couple took a helicopter from the V&A Waterfront to the wine farm. They were met by a 4×4 which drove them up the hill on a wine drive and tour of the farm. They finally reached the private deck, where we had placed some flowers, a marry me sign, and bubbly. Once on the deck, Kamal asked the girl of his dreams to marry him, SHE SAID YES! It was such a happy occasion and all involved loved assisting this happy couple.

Jilda, our onsite photographer captured the proposal on film, which was followed by a couples shoot. They loved the photos and were dressed wonderfully for this special occasion. Jilda managed to take some stunning photos that they will cherish forever.
