Bohemian marriage proposal

On the 28th of February 2022, Hilton and Kelly got engaged!

They reside in the UK and came to Cape Town for a romantic holiday. We just love chatting to tourists who are coming to Cape Town to pop the question, because we get to show off our beautiful country! This client was no different from the others, Hilton wanted it all.

They would fly in via helicopter from the Waterfront, going on a scenic tour around Constantia. Landing at Klein Constantia wine farm which is a hidden gem. Here they got taken on a wine tour with the farm manager who tells them a little bit about the history, the wines, and the vineyards. The last stop is the proposal spot, this time we used an area near the lower dam as Hilton wanted a Bohemian marriage proposal. This entailed hiring the fabulous SOUK decor for the occasion. We used an area by the dam that was lush, and best for a Bohemian picnic.

Hilton also wanted us to hire a musician who would play their favourite songs. Shen sang and performed 3 songs that were discussed with Hilton and played during and after the proposal.

We got onboard one of our best photographers, Jodi who captured their picture-perfect moment. Jodi was hiding behind the trees, and then popped out once the couple was engaged. This is how we like the proposal to be photographed, TOP SECRET.

It was such a special moment when Hilton got out of the 4×4, took kelly’s hand, and led her towards the setup. Kelly could see the “marry me” sign on arrival but the real magic happened when Hilton got down on one knee and asked the woman of his dreams to marry him. She said YES!

They enjoyed lunch at the Bistro after the proposal, which is highly recommended for anyone visiting the Constantia area. Congrats to the happy couple, wishing them all the best for a happy future together.
