Rose Garden Marriage Proposal

On the 9th of March 2022, David and Carolina got engaged.

David contacted us to assist plan the perfect proposal for the girl of his dreams. They have been together for 7 years so the time was right to pop the question.

He mentioned Carolina loves roses so at that moment we knew the perfect venue for them. There is a lovely rose garden called Chart Farm situated in Constantia. Members of the public can pick and buy their own roses while walking through the gardens. This was an old estate and the “manor house” can still be seen in some of the photos.

“Picturesque Chart Farm situated in the heart of the Southern Suburbs near Wynberg Park in Cape Town offers a farm-style retreat from the city. Chart Farm prides itself on being the only place in the Cape Peninsula where you can select and pick your own roses. Purchased in 1934, the farm has been in the family ever since. This historic farm currently has over 12 hectares of arable land where you will find our English-style rose garden, grapevines, lemon trees, farm stall, coffee shop, and horse riding with panoramic views stretching all the way to False Bay.”

On the day, the couple arrived in the morning and got a pair of secateurs, and began to cut some roses. We slowly approached them and led them up to the proposal setup. We had hung a marry me sign, and placed bunches of roses and chocolate on each side. Lesley took some photos and the video. (this can be viewed on our Instagram page)

David quickly walked her towards the sign and dropped to his knee, asking Carolina to marry him. SHE SAID YES! It was such a happy occasion with loads of hugs and excitement. Lesley took some drone shots and a video of this fabulous couple. They left with happy hearts and a perfect proposal story to tell the family.
