Stellenbosch wine cellar proposal
On the 27th of April 2021, Jared and Prenisha got engaged.
This wonderful couple lives and work in Joburg, the city of gold. They came to Cape Town for a holiday and to experience the cape Winelands.
Jared had ideas in mind but needed assistance to choose a venue and put it all together, this is where we come in 🙂 Plan, organize, and execute. His requests were non-negotiable; a videographer to capture a story of their engagement. The videographer we booked, who also took photos.
He wanted 50 long-stemmed red roses and 3 pink roses in the middle. The pink roses actually create a heart in the middle, if you look closely.
The last item was a personalised wine box, this stated the date of the proposal with their initials. Inside the box was the sign, “marry me?” A delicious bottle of Jordan wine was neatly placed to enjoy for an anniversary celebration. As he loved accessories we had personalised t-shirts made that completed the look.
We arranged a picnic at Jordan winery, this was in a private pod overlooking the dam. Here they could drink wine and eat all afternoon. Driven by a private shuttle from Cape Town, they arrived in style.
For the proposal, this happened in the wine cellar. It was hired out privately for their special moment, we decorated the area and brought in flowers, candles, fairy lights, and all the extras mentioned above. Jared and Prenisha arrived and got taken on a wine tour. Eventually making their way to the cellar, here Jared opened the wine box for her to see, led her to the central spot, and popped the question. SHE SAID YES! It really looked magical in there, lovely low lighting, calm and beautiful energy, with all the romance he wanted.
Lesley captured the proposal on film, then they decided to put their t-shirts on for the couples shoot. Oh, you know, why not have some FUN. 🙂 It was a stunning day in the Winelands for them. Stellenbosch wine cellar proposals are always a good idea.
We wish to congratulate this happy couple on their engagement. We can’t wait to see what the future holds for them! We have to share that Jared was not feeling his best that day, he had food poisoning. It was amazing to see him pull it together, be brave and make it look flawless. #theperfectproposal
