Sachin and Jenelle got engaged in Joburg, just before they boarded the famous Blue Train. This trip had been booked and planned for a September getaway.

They enjoyed their engagement celebrations on the train while they made their way to Cape Town. Along the way they had an unexpected stop and couldn’t make Cape Town in time, so we had to change dates.

To go one step back, Sachin’s mother wanted to surprise them on their arrival in Cape Town with a photoshoot and small setup. This event was known by Sachin but for Jenelle, it was going to be a big surprise!

We started planning and discussed a few options, the brief was simple; book a photographer to take lovely photos at a venue. A rooftop on Bree street was chosen and booked, however, due to their delay in arriving in time, we had to quickly change the plans. We moved the date by one day and booked the gardens at The Cellars Hohenort in Constantia. We set up marquee letters that spelled: SHE SAID YES. The idea was to be bold and fabulous so they could have beautiful photos to cherish forever. She was not “dressed up” at the actual engagement so he wanted to give her the opportunity for this to happen. Nails, hair, heels, you know the normal accessories for a glamourous lady.
