Ricardo and Paola garden proposal

On the 21st October 2019, Ricardo and Paola got engaged!

This wonderful couple came to Cape Town on holiday and Ricardo thought this was the PERFECT time to pop the question. He lives in Brasil and her in Miami as they are both studying. They met through an exchange study programme and have been together for 3 years.

They love nature and travelling so have explored many places together, South Africa is one of them. Ricardo loved the idea of proposing in the gardens in Nature, so Kirstenbosch botanical gardens was the chosen venue. Kirstenbosch is beautiful this time of year as it was Springtime. All the flowers are out in bloom which is wonderful to explore.

This is now Ricardo pictured their marriage proposal… it was planned and executed in this manner! YAY 🙂

“When we decided to go on a trip to Cape Town, I immediately thought that it would be the perfect opportunity to propose since it is an amazing place full of breathtaking scenic views.  Time passed by and as we planned for the trip, we found out about the botanical gardens and decided it was one of the places worth going to since we both love the nature and would really appreciate the gardens. So during my research, I came across pictures of the gardens and the moment I saw them I knew it would be a good spot for the perfect proposal. Since it is going to be Spring, the gardens will be at their best, and there I will have a set-up arranged for us at a quiet spot, with pictures of us, roses and petals scattered all over, and a hidden photographer to register the moment and do a couples shoot. As we walk through the beautiful gardens I will tell her how much I love her, and when we get to the place, as she starts to assimilate what is happening I will drop on one knee and ask her to be mine forever.”

After walking through the gardens and finding the setup, Ricardo got onto one knee and asked the women of his life to marry him, she said YES!

Ricardo and Paola garden proposal was so cute, we loved meeting them and sharing this happy moment. Wishing them all the best for their future together.
