Beach Wedding - Perfect Proposal

On Sunday 5th April 2015 Lindie & Peter got married! They had the most amazing beach wedding.

It was a truly beautiful day with lots of friends and family celebrating this happy occasion. They are a private couple so we will keep this short and sweet to respect their privacy.

We planned Lindie and Peter’s wedding from the beginning, the venue brief was simple they wanted ” a beach venue with the ceremony on the sand” they love the West Coast so the search began. Strandkombuis was the chosen wedding venue as it ticked all the right boxes. The date was set and planning the rest of the wedding started.

We guided them to choose great suppliers which in turn creates a magical wedding. They choose a string quartet for the ceremony as they love classical music. We hired in a DJ for the reception dancing. The wedding cake was a simple white design with flowers which looked fantastic. Lindie did all her own stationary for the wedding. The catering was done by the venue, which were big seafood buffets which delighted the guests. Lindie and Peter added in lots of small details to make their big day very personal.

Lindie wanted fresh, white deco with lots of lighting such as fairy lights and lanterns. We also added in a pop of coral every now and again. Liz did an excellent job with the set-up and flowers.

The bridesmaids were in coral dresses so that was another pop of colour. Lindie looked incredible in her Maggie Sottero wedding dress.

On the wedding day the sun was out and unfortunately the wind was blowing but what a very special day it was. We coordinated the day without any problems. A perfect day for a perfect couple!
