On the 16th May 2015 Dale popped the question to his dream girl, Nicole. An amazing Franschhoek proposal…

We met with Dale to discuss all his options and he decided he wanted to make it elegant and romantic. He wanted an outside set-up with lots of pink roses for decorations. A lake and beautiful gardens were important to him and it needed to be in the winelands. The venue chosen was La Residence in Franschhoek. The perfect location that ticked all the boxes.

Dale and Nicole have been friends for a very long time, then started to date. They met at university and through mutual friends. They have spent 4 magical years together since then.

Dale really wanted to capture the whole proposal on camera, and Michelle did an excellent job of that! She was hiding at the tea house when they arrived. We set-up the tea house to suit his style and make it very special for them both. On arrival, Dale popped the question and Nicole said YES! They enjoyed a couples shoot followed by bubbly and lunch. The lunch was served by the hotel on platters. A Franschhoek proposal fit for a queen!

After they left the venue, he arranged to celebrate with all their friends and family so they could tell them the good news in person. We think this is a very nice touch as so many people hear about it over the phone or through social media. Having a celebration after the moment is a fun idea!

We wish this happy couple so much love and hope they enjoy the future as husband and wife.
