On the 19th May 2018, Kimeel asked the women of his dreams to marry him.

Kimeel wanted us to arrange a photographer to capture the moment. He was going to handle all the other details and bookings. He did some research and loved the venue, Avianto, in Muldersdrift. This sounded like a perfect venue for his romantic idea. They have been together for 3 and a half years so the time was right. They are both from Joburg so this was a lovely getaway for the weekend.

The idea, being a picnic outside that they could relax and enjoy the scenery. The plan was set and he informed us of all the details of the day. As we are loving Monica Stewart’s work, we booked her as the professional photographer. We sent her the timeline and she arrived before the couple on the day. Kimeel was nervous but kept it together to ask Jerusha to marry him! She said YES!! They enjoyed a picnic together after the engagement and celebrated this happy news.

We are very happy to book a photographer for a couple’s marriage proposal and for them to arrange the details, we just need to know the venue and plan. It’s important that a professional photographer who knows what they are doing captures the engagement. This means they are there on time, they hide in the correct spots, they use long lenses and capture perfect photo’s. These photos are treasured for years to come. A lovely idea is to incorporate them in your wedding, as thank you tags or in the speeches. Photos create a story, they bring back memories, we love that.

Kimeel and Jerusha picnic proposal was just the sweetest. We wish them the best of luck in the future. Congrats to a very happy couple. 🙂
