Jade and Anthony Tinswalo Proposal
On the 12th of September 2020, Anthony and Jade got engaged.
This wonderful couple lives in Cape Town and has been together two magical years. They actually went to school together so can we say it is true love? 🙂
Anthony contacted us to assist with his “perfect proposal”, he wanted something unique, private, and spectacular! He also wanted family involved after the proposal for another surprise element. A lot of planning took place to ensure we had the correct idea, venue, and decor for this fabulous couple. As Anthony has a background in events and a romantic at heart, he had a few ideas to contribute.
The final idea was set, we booked one night stay at Tinswalo Lodge off Chapman’s Peak. This amazing location is hidden on the beachfront with incredible views of Hout Bay. We had the choice of rooms due to SA borders being closed and no international tourists. (lucky fishes) This chosen room had an extended balcony and the perfect spot for their special proposal. We asked Coral from Epanouir to bring in the flowers and decorated the room deck. We used natural tones with pops of greens and blues, Jade’s favorite colours. We also stuck to the trend with dried leaves and fynbos. Anthony added in a few personal items such as rose gold lights, a photo moon, and love notes.
Anthony wanted a day filled with surprises, so it started off with a love note saying, trust the journey. She was picked up by Sean from Wild & Isle in a private car, to take her for a massage. After the massage, she enjoyed a glass of bubbly. Love notes were handed to her throughout the journey, telling her how much she is loved! The last stop was Tinswalo where she arrived and walked to the room to see Anthony. Anthony then led her outside and onto the balcony, music was playing and the sun was shining! He went down on one knee and asked the lady of his dreams to marry him, she said YES!
They enjoyed a couple’s shoot at the pebble beach, Jade being clueless about the next surprise. While having photos taken, we quickly sneaked in the family who had arrived at the lodge. They gathered on the room balcony to surprise Jade and celebrate with the couple. Let’s just say there were loads of hugs and tears of happiness.
