On the 18th September 2017, Eddie asked Delia to marry him, she said YES!

Eddie and Delia have been together for 2 years. They both love the outdoors, camping and walking. Eddie asked us to find a venue that was outdoors and very private. They were coming down to Cape Town and thought it was a great time to pop the question. The chosen venue was Cascade Manor, in Paarl. There is a beautiful waterfall that runs 365 days of the year, even with Cape Town’s drought. This lovely area is private and ideal for a perfect proposal.

Eddie wanted to add in photo’s and quotes of their happy memories together so they could walk down the lane and see how far they have come. Delia’s favourite colour is peach so we used lots of peach roses as deco. We also created a rose petal heart that Eddie stood in for the proposal.

On the day they walked down the path of memories while their favourite songs played in the background. As soon as he heard Shania Twain – From This Moment, Eddie stepped into the rose petal heart to ask that special question: ‘Will you marry me?’ Delia said YES. There were tears of joy, smiles and hugs. The photographer, Jilda captured the moment on camera from her hiding place. When we came to say hello, they both had smiles from ear to ear!

After they had some photo’s taken, they sat down to a lovely picnic lunch. Followed by a spa treatment. A day filled with surprises and happiness <3

Eddie and Delia marriage proposal at a waterfall was so special. We wish them all the best for a happy and exciting future.

We heard from Eddie after the proposal, he thanked us for assisting. He also wrote the following, which is just to lovely not to share.

“She is awesome, she makes me so happy, I couldn’t have asked for better. God blessed me with an Angel, one without wings.”
