On the 1st May Dirk & Sheena got engaged at the beautiful Vrede en Lust wine Estate. They booked to stay in the Manor House as they really love this location. She was not expecting the most beautiful “Vrede en Lust proposal”.

Dirk wanted something private, romantic and memorable for his set-up. He told us Sheena’s loved green and turquoise wooden hearts. So the deco was decided and the hearts were brought and painted in her favorite colours. On the day we used them at the picnic spot and hung them in the trees. We choose the lawns on the Manor house as they had lovely views or the vineyards and was a quiet spot to ask that all important question.

We arranged a lovely picnic platter and some cakes as it was morning tea. Sheena LOVES champagne so a lovely bottle of Colmant Sec Reserve was placed on the table. Lesley the photographer was arranged to capture the proposal. Dirk popped the question and she said YES!

We just love our job, what a very happy occasion and special moment that is shared between two people. A couples shoot was done after the bubbly was popped and they could celebrate together. The photo’s were taken outside the manor house and around the pool lawns. These areas are such beautiful locations for a shoot. As you can see the photo’s came out so nicely.

We hope they have a happy future together and enjoy the wedding planning.
