Teddy bear proposal in Cape Town

On the 31st of August 2019, this wonderful couple got engaged!

We assisted a lovely couple from Durban in planning a proposal at a local Cape Town hotel. They were coming down on holiday for the weekend and he thought it was a great time to pop the question.

The President Hotel is centrally located in Bantry Bay with amazing views of the ocean. After planning with the hotel where the best place to set-up, we eventually choose their hotel room. The pool area can get busy and he wanted something a little less public thus the room would be ideal. The idea was set and we arranged the proposal accordingly.

The ‘groom to be’ sent us a LARGE teddy bear to place in the room which would be the main focus. We tied a “marry me” balloon to the teddy for it to hold. All around we set-up white & silver glitter balloons. We ordered in SO many balloons for this special occasion. We filled the room with these balloons of different heights and sizes. Once we were set-up the lovely Kathryn arrived to take photos. She would remain in the room while the couple arrived and he popped the question. The couple arrived close to sunset thus Kathryn had to be quick with her photoshoot to not miss the light. He asked the girl of his dreams to marry him, she said yes! The weather also created some issues with a few spots of rain and wind but they braved the cold and managed to get outside for a few photos.
