Scott and Jen wedding - The Perfect Proposal

On the 9th of February 2019, Scott and Jennifer said ‘I do’!

This lovely couple lives in the UK, but seeing as Scott grew up in South Africa, they decided to get married here. They chose the beautiful Cavalli Estate in Stellenbosch to be the venue for their wedding.

The ceremony took place in the sunken garden, where we had chairs and gazebos set up with shade for the guests. A white cabana was placed at the top of the stairs for the bride, groom and officiant to stand during the ceremony with beautiful flowers arranged on the corner by Anli Wahl Flowers.

The pre-reception was set up next to the dam on the grass area with a gin and beer bar, umbrellas and seating for the guests. Champagne and canapes were served by the staff at the venue while the guests chatted and enjoyed the views.

Guests then filed into the venue for the reception and gathered around the dancefloor for the grand entrance and first dance. The groomsmen and bridesmaids danced into the venue in pairs followed by Scott and Jennifer for their first dance. Confetti guns went off towards the end of the song and the couple danced among the falling gold confetti! The first dance was followed by delicious starters and mains, after which dessert and cake were laid out on tables for guests to pick up on the way to the dancefloor.

The reception looked beautiful, with candles and stunning white flowers and greenery on the tables and a hanging arrangement with naked bulbs above the bridal table. The table settings were simple with the name tags of the guests and menus at each place. The roof of the venue was decorated with white draping and lots of fairy lights. The amazing cake by the Birdcage stood in the centre of the room between the dancefloor and the tables.

Scott and Jen wedding was stunning! It was a beautiful wedding and we loved being part of it! Wishing this couple lots of love and happiness for their future together.
