Mai-li and Stuart brewery wedding - The Perfect Proposal

On the 5th of January 2019, Mai-Li and Stuart got married! Having arranged their proposal for them, they asked us to plan their beautiful wedding too. The couple chose to have their wedding in Cape Town at two separate venues. The ceremony was held at the contemporary Youngblood Art Gallery, and thereafter, the reception was held at Jack Black Brewery.

Mai-Li and Stuart wanted the décor to be simple, rather keeping the focus on the design of their chosen venues. We set up three big balloons and a welcome sign at the ceremony and chairs up in the gallery where the guests could enjoy the art around them while witnessing the ceremony.

After the ceremony, guests travelled to Jack Black Brewery in Diep River for the reception. We had a gin bar and beer bar set up, and delicious canapes were offered to the guests while a band played music for them. When the photos of the couple were finished, the doors to the venue were opened for the guests to take their seats. The tables were set up with hundreds of different sized candles, lighting up the whole venue and creating a beautiful warm atmosphere. The stable settings were also simple but elegant, with gold cutlery and white linen napkins. While the guests enjoyed their dinner, we set up an ice cream stand and doughnut wall for dessert which was very well received.

Mai-li and Stuart brewery wedding was magnificent! They were very happy with the way the whole day had worked out and also appreciated that they were able to enjoy themselves on their special day while all the details they had planned were set in place seamlessly by our team. We wish this special couple all the happiness in their future together as a married couple!
