On the 29th September 2016, Sam and Abrie got engaged.

They live in Joburg and were coming down to Cape Town for a holiday. They have been together for 4 years and counting…

They both love animals and nature, Abrie wanted something simple but beautiful for the proposal. He told us Sam was a fan of sunflowers, so to brighten up the table, we created a garland for the middle. The picnic was set-up in the gardens of the 12 Apostles hotel. We hung some bunting flags and created a small market scene at the picnic area. Abrie wanted to include small details so the moment would be remembered forever. We hired a photographer for them so no details would be missed.

They were staying at the hotel as an extra surprise! Abrie wanted to keep everything a surprise for as long as possible. The most important element for him that she was VERY surprised on the day! ‘The Perfect Proposal’ was created for this exact reason, our clients can keep the secret as we do the whole set-up for them. We also book and manage all suppliers so the cat is not let out the bag!

On the day, Abrie walked sam through the gardens to the picnic table, once there asked that all important question ‘will you marry me?”. She said YES! There was lots of excitement when we popped our heads around the corner to congratulate them on their engagement. They enjoyed a couples photoshoot on the mountain, where some amazing moments were captured.

We wish them all the best on this happy journey together. What a wonderful young and beautiful couple they were! Sam and Abrie sunflower proposal was very special and exciting. Happy wedding planning!
