Reggie & Chloe’s proposal
On the 18th April 2014 Reggie and Chloe got engaged. It was the most beautiful Ballito beach proposal!
We were very excited to plan this proposal as it was in Natal. Reggie and Chloe have been together for 6 long years and he decided it was time to pop the question. When we first spoke to Reggie he really wanted to make a day out of it, so the planning began. The idea should be “unforgettable, something to tell the kids”. Reggie asked us to include the beach as a location and some adventure in the day. We really were excited about this proposal as it was a whole day adventure!
They woke up early in the morning so they could get to the first “activity” which was planned, a hot air balloon ride at sunrise! They enjoyed the ride over green fields in Natal and then had a champagne breakfast. The next “activity” on the list was to drive through to the North Coast as they were having lunch at the Oyster Box. One of our favorite venues in the Natal area. They went for a walk along the beach and came across a sand castle that had been built for another proposal. Reggie said he was secretly nervous and was laughing. He was very happy to see another name on it, as Chloe might have even had said YES then 🙂
After a delicious lunch we thought Chloe deserved some pampering, thus we booked them in for a couples massage at the beautiful Willow stream Spa in Zimbali. Chloe at this stage still had no idea why she was getting so spoilt! The last and final “activity”, where the actual proposal was to happen, was on Zimbali beach, a private picnic for two! Chloe’s favorite colour is yellow, and she loves Gladiolas (flowers). We had these cute biscuits made that said “Marry me Chloe” which were just so sweet. Reggie popped the question and we had Chris, the photographer capture the special moment. Chloe was very surprised and after a long day, they enjoyed the picnic on the beach, while watching the sunset. Congrats to you both! This Ballito beach proposal was just perfect!
What a lovely young couple, we wish them all the best on their adventures together! We hope they share many more happy times.
