I wanted to share some feedback about my recent experience working with Sian on my proposal in Cape Town.
I flew in from Australia, first time ever visiting South Africa, and only had four days in Cape Town to make this happen. Planning something as big as a proposal from overseas could have been overwhelming, but with Sian, it felt effortless.
From the very start, her communication over email and WhatsApp was seamless. She was always quick to reply despite the time difference, super clear with her details, and really easy to deal with when it came to payment, too. Everything felt transparent, especially when it came to optional extras like decorations; there was never any pressure, just clear choices that made the planning process simple.
Her recommendation of The Rock Lookout as the proposal spot was perfect. The waves crashing below, mountains in the background, the sun setting across a blue sky…it was the kind of view you see in postcards. Because August is the rainy season, I had been worried about the weather, but Sian went the extra mile by giving me a detailed analysis of the forecast, even breaking down wind patterns, to help choose the best possible day. That gave me so much confidence.
She also thought of practical details that really made a difference for someone visiting for the first time. For example, she suggested taking an Uber instead of driving because of the limited parking near the lookout. That small piece of advice completely calmed any extra worries I had about logistics on the day.
On the proposal day itself, she even shared her live location on WhatsApp so I knew exactly where to be and when! It might sound simple, but for someone planning this from overseas, that level of support made all the difference. The optional decorations she arranged added a personal touch, and the photos she captured were incredible. Sian has a real talent for photography; the shots came out beautifully, and they’re something we’ll treasure forever. We also had a videographer on the day. The videos were nice, but it was the photos that really shone and brought the whole moment to life.
From an international tourist’s perspective, what Sian offered was more than just a service; it was confidence, clarity, and genuine care. She took something that could have been stressful and made it simple, enjoyable, and unforgettable. If anyone overseas is considering Cape Town for a proposal, I can say from experience that you’ll be in excellent hands with Sian.
