On the 28th March 2015 Niel and Anjane got engaged. They both reside in Pretoria but love the outdoors and beautiful surroundings so Niel decided Cape Town was the place to propose. They love exploring new areas, after giving him many ideas Stellenbosch in the winelands was the chosen location. A Stellenbosch proposal was on the cards.
They enjoyed exploring the winelands before arriving at Breniassance for a romantic picnic for two. A picnic was set-up on the lawns before they arrived. On arrival Niel asked the girl of his dreams to marry him… she said YES! Anjane loves taking photo’s so a photographer was an essential part of the plan. Lesley captured the whole proposal on film then did a couples shoot afterwards. These memories will be remembered forever.
We asked Niel to describe his “perfect proposal” and this is what he had to say:
“My definition of a perfect proposal is “the element of surprise” as well as having a proposal that would not only meet your partner’s expectations, but would exceed it and take her breath away, making her cry from joy. It is my biggest wish to surprise Anjané (P.S. She has been waiting patiently for this proposal for a while. There were countless instances that she through that I would propose and it just did not happen. She is a very intelligent person and is a very good observer. She can easily establish what is going to happen, so I definitely would like to surprise her and catch her off guard)” He decided in the end a Stellenbosch proposal was what she would love.
We hope she was the happiest girl in the world and the secret was kept as we are very under cover in all our planning 🙂
After the picnic, Niel had one more surprise in store for Anjane, they were going to stay the night in one of the luxury suites at Breniassance. She was spoilt with chocolates, flowers and dinner to show how much he loves her.
We wish them all the happiness in the world and we hope they have a wonderful future together. May their journey be filled with many more surprises and excitement!
