Moroccan Styled Shoot 2017

When The Perfect Proposal team decided it was time for a styled shoot to be put together, it was the daunting thought of what theme we were going to go with. With all the options in the world, we were swamped with ideas. However, once we saw the furniture and décor from SOUK, our minds were made up. A Moroccan styled shoot would be trendy and fun. The perfect way to make it unique was to have the location be in a forest instead of on the beach or in a dessert.

This led us to choose Winery Road Forest in Stellenbosch as our venue. For anyone who hasn’t seen the beautiful lands on which this wedding venue is located needs to know just how picture perfect this location is a photoshoot. We were thrilled when the team at Winery Road Forest was more than happy for us to use their location.

Peach Cronje Make-Up Artistry was in charge of the hair and make up for our two models, Seth and Natalia who work for D&A management. Peach went for natural hair and makeup looks for both of our models. Dear Rae loaned us two beautiful rings and some bracelets for the shoot. For anyone who has not checked out their shop in Woodstock needs to add this to their list of things to do before the festive season. We had Bradley Richardson create a setup video for us which will soon be available on our website and the very talented Matty Snaps was our photographer for this shoot.

The weather was playing games with us on the afternoon of the shoot as it would rain and then the sun would try and come out for a few minutes and then it would suddenly rain again. Luckily, we had an amazing team that was ready to cover up our set up in order to keep everything in perfect condition. The gloomy weather is ideal for picture perfect photos so overall, we made the weather work for us.

Once the set up was complete and the models were ready, we started shooting. We got all the pictures that we had hoped to get. This styled shoot was one that was a great success even though the weather tried to get in the way. The team at The Perfect Proposal would just like to thank each and every person who was involved in the success of this day.
