On the 11th of November 2017, Corli and Ivan got married.

At our first meeting with Corli and Ivan, we just knew that their wedding was going to be a true reflection of their fun-loving and relaxed personalities. We assisted Corli with the on-the-day planning of her wedding and it was a pleasure working with such an organized lady who knows exactly what she wants!

Spoilt for choice with gorgeous wedding venues in the Natal Midlands we were delighted to be heading back to the gorgeous Haycroft Farm. This venue is the full package with its breathtaking views, beautiful chapel and well thought out reception venue.  Corli had decided on a natural décor theme, using a mix of green, white and lots of candlelight. The talented ladies from Natural Nostalgia pulled off her idea perfectly and Corli added personal touches with Lindt chocolate favours and origami birds with each guest’s name on. We just love how these birds looked like they were flying in and amongst the floral table runners and we will definitely be stealing this idea from Corli for future events!

A beautiful midlands day set the backdrop for their special day and everything ran according to schedule with even the bride being on time. Corli could not wait to marry her man! After the ceremony guests enjoyed a harvest table near the dam and true to form the midlands mist started to roll in, making for the most dreamy and romantic photographs. The reception followed with heartfelt speeches, delicious food, dancing and festivities; all of the good things that make a great wedding.

Katie from Summertown Pictures has painted the most exquisite picture of this couple’s special day with each photograph capturing the love, happiness and joy shared amongst family and friends.
