Marcela and Matt celebrated their love with an intimate winter wedding at La Roche in Franschhoek, surrounded by 45 of their closest family and friends. It was a day that beautifully blended Marcela’s Brazilian warmth with Matt’s British charm, creating a celebration filled with love, laughter, and unforgettable moments.

The day began in the Manor House, where Marcela got ready in elegant surroundings, setting the perfect tone for what was to come. Guests gathered at The Sanctuary for the ceremony, a truly magical venue that provided a serene setting as the couple exchanged vows.

For the reception, every detail was carefully curated. AVZ Décor transformed the space with soft draping and romantic touches, bringing warmth and intimacy to the winter celebration. The feast table, created by Annalize Catering, was a showstopper, abundant, inviting, and the perfect centrepiece for guests to gather around and enjoy.

Entertainment played a big role in creating the atmosphere. Live singers called The Blondies set a relaxed yet celebratory mood during pre-drinks, while Kirya the saxophonist added energy and flair to Marcela and Matt’s grand entrance. Rather than walking in, they chose to dance their way into the reception, a joyful moment that immediately set the tone for the night.

From there, the celebration flowed effortlessly. Guests filled the dance floor as the DJ Dario kept the energy high, and the evening carried on with music, dancing, and connection long into the night.
