From the very beginning, Jordache and Prasanthi’s love story was written in metaphor.

When they first started dating, she joked, “I’m just shaking the tree to see what falls out.” His reply? “And what are you hoping to find amongst the fallen fruit?” That playful exchange planted the seed for something real — and from that moment, they were inseparable.

So when it came time to propose, Jordache brought their love story full circle. On a golden winter’s morning in Kirstenbosch Gardens, he led her to a tree that held more than just leaves — suspended between its branches were memories: photographs of their journey together, softly swaying in the breeze.

The scene was sun-drenched and serene, the mountains rising quietly in the distance — nature standing witness to a deeply personal moment. Beneath the canopy of that special tree, Jordache got down on one knee… and asked Prasanthi to be his forever.

It was magic. Thoughtful, symbolic, and straight from the heart. Congratulations, beautiful souls, your love is the kind that grows and grows.
