On the 8th June 2018, Josh and Demie got engaged!

Josh contacted us as he required assistance to set up a perfect proposal, the theme: Disney! Demie apparently LOVES Disney movies so we were very excited to put this together for them.

The first step was deciding the venue, we knew the 12 Apostles hotel was one of the only hotels with a private cinema thus this was the chosen venue. Josh being a nature lover wanted to pop the question outside. So incorporating movies and nature the plan was set.

Demie and Josh arrived in Cape Town from Joburg. They came down to stay for a weekend getaway. First, they checked into their sea-facing suite at the hotel. They freshened up, got dressed and came down to reception to meet us. Once here they separated and Josh went to the picnic area and Demie to the private cinema. Demie then watched a movie of their “story”.  A short film we had put together of their relationship, obviously with Josh’s help. We also decorated the cinema with balloons and movie treats so she knew something was “up” on arrival. After the movie was finished, we led her to the mountain where she followed Disney themed love signs all the way to find Josh. Josh was standing waiting for his princess to arrive, with balloons from the Movie UP in the background.

Demie approached Josh and he went down on his knee to ask the girl of his dreams to marry him. She said YES! Wow, what a moment, it was beautiful!!  Lesley captured the whole proposal on film and took some photo’s afterwards of the happy couple.

The surprises were not finished yet, after the picnic, Josh led Demie back to the cinema where they watched her favourite Disney movie of all time, ALADDIN. They had a private viewing in the cinema with popcorn, cold drinks, sweets and chocolates. This was heaven for any Disney fan 🙂

Josh and Demie Disney Marriage Proposal was magical! We were so happy to be involved in this exciting event. A huge congrats to them and may all their dreams come true.
