On the 3rd February 2019, Jeandre popped the question and Michele said YES!
Jeandre spent some time checking out our website and really loved the picnic set up video we have of a proposal on Table Mountain. He contacted us to ask for a similar set up as he knew Michele would love it! He had an exact date in mind that he wanted to propose and so we set about planning the picnic of Michele’s dreams!
The forested area of Toadbury Hall was the best place for this picnic proposal – it is surrounded by lovely trees and is the perfect little secluded spot. We had great fun decorating the area with bunting, blankets, Marry Me sign, beautiful wooden décor, pillows and candles. We also had a bottle of cold bubbly waiting for them to celebrate with. We also did an extra special touch for them and printed a framed picture showing the date they got engaged 😊
Jeandre and Michele arrived right on time and just before we got to their proposal spot we blindfolded Michele for the maximum surprise element. She still had no idea and wasn’t even vaguely suspicious – she just thought it was something we always do! Jeandre led her to the spot and he got down on one knee before Michele removed the blindfold – she was SO surprised and got all teary! She couldn’t believe it – kept looking at her ring and kept saying how beautiful everything was.
Leandrie then took them for a photo shoot onto the bridge on the dam and around their picnic site. The pictures are so lovely and they look so happy! They then enjoyed their picnic before heading back home to celebrate with family and friends.
