Francois and Marizane Table Mountain proposal

On the 24th of September 2020, Francois and Marizane got engaged!

This is a true love story <3 They have been together for 5 years and met at school.  The true sense of young love as they are only in their twenties, adventures are just beginning.

Francois knew he wanted to pop the question with AMAZING views of Cape Town, thus Table Mountain was chosen. “Table Mountain is proud to be one of the official New7Wonders of Nature and the only one to be located in an urban area, making it highly accessible. Competing against major international attractions, Table Mountain made it to the top seven after a campaign that attracted more than 100-million global votes”. It is really one of those places you have to see in your life… we highly suggest visiting it.

As it is SO popular the queues on the day were longer than expected. It was also a public holiday in South Africa and locals were taking advantage of the lovely weather. However, this happy couple was not phased one bit about the wait. Bronwyn, our secret photographer captured the moments from start to finish as we love to do for this venue. The story is all in the details.

Once the reached the top, having taken the cable car up, Francois walked to his favorite spot and asked Marizane to take photos of the view. While doing this, he pulled out the gorgeous diamond ring and stood behind her, waiting to go on one knee. As she turned around, he opened the box and asked the girl of his dreams to marry him! SHE SAID YES!
