On the 15th February 2019, Divan proposed to Nadia, she said YES!

Divan first contacted our team looking for the most romantic ideas to propose to his girlfriend, Nadia. They had only been dating for a few months but had known each other for years. He knew he wanted it to be really romantic with lots of red roses everywhere! He works in Witbank and so was looking for somewhere in Pretoria or Johannesburg to propose. We sent him eight ideas and he chose the beautiful Castello Di Monte for his proposal.

It was rainy and windy on the day, so instead of decorating their panoramic deck on the roof, we decorated their beautiful Tuscan hotel room. The Presidential Suite was huge with TWO bathrooms and really high ceilings. It had a nice long passage into their bedroom so we decorated the passage with red rose petals, candles in tall vases and over 100 long stem red roses. There was a curtain of fairy lights at the end of the passage and a rose petal heart for Divan to kneel in with a Marry Me sign behind him. We set up a table in their room for their romantic candle lit dinner, as well as a bottle of bubbly waiting to be opened for the celebration.

They arrived and we asked them to wait outside while we readied their room. Divan then excused himself to go wait in the room for Nadia and moments later, we led Nadia through to him. She was SO surprised! The ring was beautiful and Nadia giggled for ages with excitement!

They then enjoyed a lovely couple shoot around the beautiful hotel grounds, before returning to their room for their romantic dinner.
