Dan and Beth big rock proposal

On the 27th of November 2019, Dan asked the girl of his dreams to be his wife. Can you guess what she said… YES!

Dan and Beth were coming to the Cape for a holiday. They love exploring and travelling so knew all about the city.  Dan had a grand idea in mind for the proposal, he wanted to use the BIG ROCK which is on Lion’s Head at sunset. We know this area well and arranged all the details for him.

Sian, our photographer was booked and on the day arrived early to “secure” the spot for this fabulous couple. We watched the weather closely and knew it would be the perfect evening! The couple arrived and made their way to the “chosen rock” which has the most incredible views of Clifton beaches, 12 Apostles mountain range, Table Mountain and Lion’s Head in the background. The flowers at this time of year are always wonderful thus making the views even better.

The couple sat down on the big rock and Dan popped the question. Sian managed to capture the proposal beautifully. She was behind them and secretly took some photos of their engagement. Once the ring was on the finger, the waved at Sian and began a couples shoot on Lion’s Head.

We arranged a bottle of non-alcoholic bubbly and some treats for them to celebrate. They enjoyed watching the sunset into the Atlantic ocean.
