On the 25th November 2017, Cal and Robyn got engaged.

Cal contacted us a while back to inquire about ideas for his upcoming engagement. After some time, he decided and booked at Valley Lodge & Spa in Magaliesburg. It is a lovely 4-star hotel that is surrounded by nature reserve and rivers. This location is ideal for a romantic marriage proposal.

We assisted Cal in booking a photographer for the day. The rest of the details were all his ideas. The oversall idea was to enjoy a picnic on the hotel grounds. Unfortunately, as nature has a mind of its own, it was pouring with rain that day. The weather was forecasted as set-in rain. This meant the picnic had to be moved inside to one of the rondavels. As Cal said in his own words, the hotel did a marvellous job with the changes and he could not have been happier.

Cal and Robyn met at a friends party and had been together for 1 year and 6 months. The time was right to pop the question!

On the day, Monica, our skilled photographer captured the proposal. Cal had made up a canvas of photos and in the middle it said “will you marry me?”. It was covered and couldn’t be seen until Robyn removed the cloth. As she turned around, Cal was on one knee to ask that important question, she said yes! What a special moment between two people so in love. The rain suddenly stopped and they were very lucky to venture outside to take some photos. The photo’s look great and we are so happy to share them with you.
