Andre and Elleine proposal in Blouberg

On the 25th January 2020, Andre asked the wonderful Elleine to be his wife.

Andre and Elleine booked a holiday with her two children to Cape Town. They live in Springbok and Andre travels a lot so it was a special time all together. Little did Elleine know that Andre got in touch with us and had planned the proposal to take place during their break. As he had booked a fabulous apartment in Blouberg, this is where he wanted to pop the question.

The apartment had amazing views of Table Mountain and Blouberg beach, making a perfect spot to get engaged. We arrived while the family was out shopping at Canal Walk. We decorated the apartment to make a grand entrance. A marry me sign and photos were stuck on the windows (as the weather was not ideal to use the outside balcony). We covered the floor in red hearts and rose petals. As she walked in she was led by the hearts to the window which spelt out “marry me?”. Thanks to The Velvet Cake Company for the delicious cupcakes, they are always well liked at our events.

Jilda, our fabulous photographer was hiding in the apartment to capture the proposal on film. She did a great job of not scaring them, but rather capturing all the magical moments 🙂 After the celebrations in the apartment were done, Jilda took them downstairs and took photos on the beach. It turned out to be the most beautiful afternoon & sunset. They were so lucky as the weather earlier that day was wet & windy.
