On the 14th March 2015 its was Vanessa and Shaun’s wedding day!

We assisted this lovely couple with On-the-day coordination. How this package works is that we come on board after all the suppliers and venue are booked. We had a meeting with Vanessa and Shaun three weeks before about all the details for their upcoming wedding. As Vanessa is a very organized person and Shaun plays as a DJ we were glad to hear that everything was on track. Two weeks before the wedding we drew up a timeline for the running of the day and contacted all their wonderful suppliers. Vanessa and Shaun’s wedding was going to be fabulous!

Their wedding was at a venue called Rockhaven in Elgin. This venue is stunning, an old brick barn used for the reception and a boat house overlooking a dam for the ceremony. Everywhere you look are views of water or mountains, a venue that should be considered for all occasions. They have accommodation on the property where the bridal party got dressed.

We arrived on the Friday the day before to make sure the set-up was going to plan. Petals Group arranged all the flowers and table decor. Vanessa went for striped table cloths with green palms, white flowers, glass items and lots of candles. They also put up big crystal chandeliers which were hung from the roof. The feeling you got was an elegant New York summer party! They used the outside area for the dance floor which worked very well. A Bedouin tent covered this area in case of rain or cold.

This wedding was filled with great ideas and so many suppliers, they had a beer kegs, a coffee machine, a band playing, a brilliant DJ for the dancing and a delicious wedding cake by Kanya Hunt. The catering was done by the venue and bar by the groom. Vanessa looked stunning in her lace wedding dress. The bridesmaid’s all wore coral lace dresses which really popped with colour. The talented Kelly Sweet did all the girls make-up on the day. Shaun and his groomsmen looked dashing their this bow ties and suits.  As you can see from the photo’s a great looking couple 🙂 On the day we assisted with all the suppliers set-up and made sure the wedding ran smoothly.

The guests enjoyed their night of glamour. Sparklers were lit for Vanessa & Shaun’s first dance. After this the party started and people danced the night away. These two love birds went as far as combing their surnames to form a new one…so congrats The Westwood’s.
