On the 11th September, Thabo asked the love of his life Elizabeth to marry him!

Thabo contacted us asking for our assistance to set up a perfect proposal in Cape Town. We chatted to him about ideas and location, the chosen one was a private cinema at the 12 Apostles hotel. This fun couple were visiting Cape Town briefly, before heading off to Thailand the following morning.

Thabo told us that Elizabeth’s favourite colour is pink, so we organized pink balloons and a pink birthday cake for her. Elizabeth’s birthday was the day before, so what better way to carry on with the celebrations! He told her they were going to the movies to celebrate her birthday, little did she know he had more surprises store.

The couple arrived at the hotel and we lead Elizabeth to the private cinema to watch a short film he had put together of their relationship. Thabo spoke from the heart and created such a lovely personal start at the proposal. At the end of the film, Thabo said: “I have one more thing to ask, please turn around…”  Thabo then walked into the cinema and got down on one knee to propose. Elizabeth was so surprised and had NO idea what was coming! Her reaction was amazing, there were tears of joy and lots of laughter. She said YES of course!

The couple celebrated with bubbly and went outside to take some photos. They were very lucky with the weather, as it was a bright sunny day in Cape Town before the cold front approached. The surprises were not finished yet, after taking photos, Thabo and Elizabeth returned to the cinema to watch Fifty Shades of Grey. Her favourite movie of all time.

Thabo and Elizabeth private cinema proposal was so special! A massive congratulations to the happy couple!
