On the 27th February 2020, Milan and Raveena got engaged.

This lovely couple work and live in Joburg. Cape Town was the chosen location for a romantic holiday. They have been together for 9 years so the time was right to pop the question. Milan contacted us to assist with sourcing the perfect venue for their big day. As we know Cape Town very well, we suggested a few rooftop venues that might be suitable. He was looking for beautiful views, urban & luxurious vibe, and very romantic. The chosen venue was The Silo hotel in the Silo district at the Waterfront. This is one of our FAVOURITE venues, it is exclusive and oh -so-romantic. The proposal was planned to be on the rooftop pool area but the wind was blowing gusts that day, so the hotel kindly offered us the Penthouse to make use of. If you have seen the Silo Penthouse before, then you know the not much is required as it is beautiful. The views are of the harbour, Lions head and Table Mountain, which paints Cape Town in a wonderful light.

As Milan wanted to keep it simple, we brought in a frame which said “will you marry me?” along side a vase with white roses and greenery. We had a secret photographer hiding to capture their special moments on film.

Milan and Raveena arrived at The Silo and were escorted up to the Penthouse floor. The door opened and walked in to see the ‘setup’. Raveena read the sign and Milan asked her to marry him, she said YES! They had a few photos around the hotel, followed by breakfast at the restaurant. Thank you to The Silo for making his dream come true.

Milan and Raveena Marriage proposal at The Silo Hotel was stunning. Wishing them all the best on their journey together.

We received these kind words from Milan after the proposal:

Looking to pop the question on a rooftop, look at this idea.

On the 6^th July 2019, Nick asked Sandy-Lee to marry him and she said YES! Nick and Sandy have been dating for two and a half years and Nick knew her so well that he planned a super romantic treasure hunt for her that morning! She would go on the treasure hunt with her sister and soon to be sister-in-law and they would eventually find Nick and our set up 😊

The morning started with Sandy being handed her first clue and a beautiful single red rose. The clue took her a foot massage with the sisters. Then the next clue took her to breakfast and then on to a secret destination that meant something to the two of them. Then it was off to their first date spot for margaritas before they jumped in the car to arrive at The Residence Boutique Hotel. Nick and Sandy had not spoken the whole day and Nick was anxiously pacing up and down waiting for Sandy to arrive!

We had set up the private Boat Lounge room at the hotel with a romantic table for four, a canvas with a picture of the two of them, Marry Me sign, a trail of rose petals and bouquets of her favourite flowers and our lovely violinist, Kristel of Cherry Pill. Nick had requested a list of romantic songs for Kristel to play but specifically for Train’s Marry Me to play during the proposal.

We collected Sandy and her sisters from the car park and led them to the Boat Lounge. She was so nervous walking in and instantly broke into a smile when she saw him. It was so romantic, and the sisters got to witness the whole thing with not a dry eye in the house. They then all enjoyed a lovely lunch to celebrate!

Nick and Sandy-Lee Treasure Hunt Proposal was AWESOME! Nick, you were so meticulous in your planning and it was a pleasure to work with you! We wish you all the best as you plan the wedding.

Rishi and Bhagyashree have been best friends for 5 years and dating for 1.5 years. They met while both studying the same degree at the University of Pretoria. Rishi knew that he wanted something perfect for Bhagyashree and he had watched our social media for a while until he saw a couple of ideas he liked.

We decided to do a beautiful setup on the terrace of the Maslow Hotel that was booked out just for the two of them. They arrived for spa treatments and once Rishi’s treatment was over, he disappeared to change into his suit and meet us outside. He had previously dropped off an outfit for Bhagyashree (without her knowing) and once she had finished her manicure, she was handed a letter that asked her to change into the dress hanging in the ladies’ changeroom. Waiting there for her were new earrings, a new dress, shoes, handbag and makeup. Rishi spent a few nerve-wracking moments waiting for her while she got changed.

She was quite confused and surprised but once she was dressed, she followed the clues to meet Rishi outside. She looked so beautiful! We had decorated the terrace with pictures of them in a heart-shaped frame, lots of vases of her favourite flowers and a copper arch with a Marry Me sign. She was so surprised to see Rishi waiting on one knee underneath it! He gave a short speech, asked the big question and she said yes!

They then enjoyed a photoshoot with the lovely Leandrie Du Plessis, and phoned their friends and family with their good news!

Rishi and Bhagyashree Rooftop Proposal was such a lovely day and we wish them all the best for their wedding, as well as all the years to come.

Cameron and Elizma were on holiday in Cape Town from the Free State and after being together for 5 years, Cameron decided that this trip would be the perfect time for him to propose.

Cameron told Elizma that they were viewing a flat in Cape Town as he wanted to purchase it. He told her they would be going to a fancy dinner afterwards so that she needed to dress up. While Cameron and Elizma were getting ready, The Perfect Proposal team was busy decorating up a rental apartment in Cape Town with countless decorations! There were red helium balloons that filled the space, red roses in vases placed all around the room, red rose petals that were carefully placed and countless fairy lights and candles lit up the room. Cameron even sent us photos of the couple that we placed on the staircase. There was nothing that he did not want to do for Elizma and he was so romantic as he thought of every little detail. The city views from this apartment were spectacular! Cameron wanted a rooftop proposal with glowing fairy lights, balloons to fill the space and lots of romance, this is what we arranged.

Once we got word that Cameron and Elizma were on their way up, the photographer got into place and got ready to catch the special moment on camera. Elizma was SO surprised when she walked through that door. Imagine walking into an apartment and just seeing romantic red everywhere! It was such a beautiful picture. Cameron Walked Elizma onto the balcony and asked her to marry him. SHE SAID YES!

The couple then popped a bottle of champagne and had a few photos taken before they went to dinner in the city. A lovely dinner was booked for them at Reubens at the One & only hotel. They stayed at the apartment for the next two nights and let the reality of being engaged sink in.

We loved being a part of this couple’s special day and helping Cameron pull of what really was The Perfect Proposal! We wish them all the best in their future. Cameron and Elizma romantic marriage proposal was truly memorable.
