Ruhan & Jenine proposal

On the 7th August 2014 Ruhan & Jenine got engaged! A stunning Engagement on the beach.

It was the most beautiful day in Cape Town, a glorious winter’s day! Ruhan called us to help him assist with the big event as they are from out of town and wanted only the best for Jenine! His first thoughts were going up Table Mountain and doing the proposal up there, which is a great idea as it one of the most prominent landmarks in Cape Town.

We planned his proposal around this idea but about a week before the day we heard from them it was closed, they were doing their annual maintenance on the cable cars. We called Ruhan to discuss his options and we decided the beach (looking at Table Mountain) was the best idea! In the end all he wanted was something special that she would remember for the rest of her life.

On the day, we set-up a picnic for two on Clifton beach, as mentioned it was the most beautiful day in Cape town, blue skies and sunshine! They were blessed with great weather that whole weekend. Ruhan asked if we could make a sign (Jenine trou met my) to the picnic as she would be VERY surprised walking across that! We made it in her favorite colour blue and used ribbons & bunting flags for decoration.

They arrived at the beach, walked along and the photographer, Jilda, was capturing their every move. They finally reached the rocks and he popped the question! A very surprised Jenine said YES! A lovely young couple who were very excited to spend the rest of their lives together. That afternoon they enjoyed the delicious picnic food, popped the bubbly and celebrated this happy occasion. A perfect beach proposal… đŸ™‚
