On the 22nd November 2013 Riaan and Alicja got engaged. The cutest Marry me cupcake proposal ever!

Riaan wanted the proposal to be very special, as they have been discussing their wedding for a while.

We suggested using Silvermist Mountain Lodge as the venue as he wanted something in nature, but not next to the ocean. His brief to us was private, elegant and intimate.

He described Alicja as being very girly who loves pretty things as she is real girl at heart! He wanted to make her feel like a princess! Her favorite colour is of course pink.

The picnic was set-up on a balcony in one of the cute cottages. We made it very romantic by adding decorations of all her favorites things! (pink ribbons, bunting and Gerber daisies)

We also had sweet cupcakes make up that said “marry me” to make it extra special!!

After having a massage at Beau Constantia down the road, they arrived at the cottage. She got a huge surprise and Riaan proposed while Hayley, the photographer captured it all on film. She said YES! After this they enjoyed a long romantic picnic for two over looking the vineyards! A perfect day!

That evening they had dinner at La Mouette in Seapoint to celebrate their engagement!
