On the 3rd October 2015 Priyesh and Amrita had the perfect balloon proposal. It was an engagement to remember forever! They have been together for 7 years and their anniversary was that weekend so they celebrated this in style, by getting engaged!

When ee first spoke to Priyesh he told us he wanted something intimate, unique and for her to feel loved by him. He wanted it to be a moment she would never forget! They are from Pretoria and did not want to travel far to get to the proposal location. We suggested going away for the night and staying in a beautiful boutique hotel. The hotels soon became the location for where the proposal would happen. After choosing between a few places Priyesh finally choose Fairlawns Hotel & Spa. This lovely establishment is in the heart of Sandton with gardens, terraces and amazing suites.

Priyesh loved the idea we gave him of “filling the room with hundreds of balloons”. He wanted it in the suite so it was very private and an intimate moment. This added an element of surprise and excitement. Imagine walking into the room which has balloons from floor to ceiling… stunning!!

The day arrived for the set-up, the balloons got delivered, we only used white and clear as it would make more of an impact. A table for two was set on the balcony for the romantic dinner later that night. We worked hard to make the suite look perfect. We tied little love notes to the balloons so she could read them as they entered. We also used a few photo’s of happy memories they had shared. On arrival a member of staff showed them the way to the suite. She opened the door to find a room filled with balloons. This magical moment was captured by the photographer, Genevieve. Priyesh popped the question and she said YES! The perfect balloon proposal indeed!

After the emotions were under control they enjoyed a couples shoot around the hotel. They were left alone to celebrate and later that night a romantic dinner was served to them on the balcony. They had their own private table under the stars. Amrita received the best anniversary present, a diamond ring!
