On the 14th September 2013 Nasheer and Kashmiri got engaged. A stunning Roundhouse Restaurant marriage proposal…

As it was their first time in the magical city of Cape Town, he wanted to propose at a location with beautiful views. Our initial idea for the lovely couple was a beach proposal on Camps Bay beach but as we all know Cape Town is known for its unpredictable weather and it just so happens on that weekend it was pouring with rain! We quickly got in touch with Nasheer and changed the location as the beach was not possible.

Nasheer was determined to propose outside as they wanted to enjoy the beautiful scenery of Cape Town. We decided to plan a ‘garden proposal’ at The Roundhouse in Clifton. We were very lucky with the weather, as we set out the table for two on the lawns the rain stopped. Nasheer got what he wanted and had a beautiful proposal over looking the ocean and mountains.

Kashmiri favorite colors are ‘peacock colors’ and she loves candles thus we used this for the proposal. His brief to us was lots of planning & preparation creates that ever-lasting experience that makes an occasion a success. She is one who lives for these kind of moments and he wanted the proposal to give her goosebumps! Nasheer wanted it to be a private and romantic moment for them to share together.

They arrived at The Roundhouse, they were led down the path into the gardens and found the table for two on the lawns. He walked her down the candle lit path to the table and said those magic words – “will you marry me?” She said YES!

They popped the champagne and the celebrations began! We took some pictures and then they were off for a romantic dinner for two in a private dining room. An amazing Roundhouse Restaurant marriage proposal!
