On the 27th December 2017, Fabio asked Michelle to marry him, she said YES!

Fabio and Michelle were going to be on holiday in KZN over December and he contacted us about finding the perfect proposal location. After chatting to Fabio about his and Michelle’s interests we decided on the Oyster Box’s garden gazebo. We just love the Oyster Box for its old-school charm and beachside glamour, making any proposal instantly romantic.

Fabio wanted to use a lot of red roses and candlelight which works beautifully with the location gazebo which is tucked away in the gardens of the Oyster Box.  We were so delighted when the 27th of December dawned a bright and beautiful day and we began by hanging fairy lights from the outdoor gazebo and scattered lots of candles to provide the softest light. Dozens of vases filled with red roses were placed around the gazebo and a pathway of rose petals leading up to a beautifully set table for two. Exquisite tableware and personal touches of Michelle’s favourite flower and a framed photograph completed the picture.

Fabio had told Michelle that they were going on a date and that she was to be ready by a certain time and to meet him at the hotel. Waiting under the gazebo Fabio then eagerly awaited Michelle’s arrival with one red rose in hand… how romantic! The lovely Kimone, from Kimone Moodley Photography, was hiding behind the scenes to capture this very special moment.

We just love how the photos give a glimpse into this fairy tale setup and the iconic Oyster Box lighthouse provides the perfect backdrop for these beautiful memories. Michelle and Fabio Oyster Box proposal was magical. Wishing Fabio and Michelle a lifetime of happiness together.
