Lloyd and Zainab beach proposal

On the 28th December 2020, Lloyd popped the question to his magnificent girlfriend, Zainab.

They reside in Joburg and were coming down to Cape Town for the December holidays. They enjoyed a lovely holiday in Cape Town, with the proposal planned for the middle of their trip.

Due to COVID lockdown rules, the beaches were still open at that stage but he made it just in time as they closed the following day! PHEW… talk about timing!! The changes we did have to make were on the timeline, due to curfews in place. So enough about lockdowns and COVID, let’s talk about this stunning couple and their proposal 🙂

Lloyd told her he booked a photographer for a photoshoot, this was the plan and he stuck to it.

Things about Zainab:

– She loves the outdoors – especially the beach!
– Definitely loves to take a lot of pictures
– Beautiful views melt her heart
– She’s definitely a sunset person
– A romantic at heart

From reading the above, his ideas were absolutely perfect. We used Lions Head to start with a couples shoot and then moved to the beach for the proposal. The proposal was stunning and all family was involved.

They arrived on the beach, with Lesley our photographer. They walked to the setup shot, Zainab was so happy and in love! As you can see from the photos, they made one very happy couple. Lloyd popped the question and she said YES! The family gathered around to congratulate them on their engagement! We love the idea of involving family or friends, this brings in another surprise element to the day.
