Lee and Tristan Wedding

Lee and Tristan got married on the 2nd of December in Stellenbosch.

They choose Hawksmoor Manor as their wedding venue, a stunning farm in the Winelands. As the venue comes with nothing, everything needs to be hired in. We were then on-the-day coordinators so took over about two months before the wedding. At this stage, Lee had done an outstanding job of creating her look and feel for the big day. She is very creative and designed all the stationary herself, along with some design elements. She wanted to create that soft, floating feeling using materials, linen, and whimsical flowers which one can see throughout the wedding. The wedding had a lovely feeling of being personal, as a lot of her friends helped to create that magic.

Around 150 guests made their way to the wedding, most coming from Cape Town, then some stayed at the venue for the night, and the others left in shuttles to go home. The ceremony was held at the venue, in the garden area, and a friend married them.

After this, they moved to the long dam area, where they enjoyed drinks & a harvest table, created by Table Seven. Kristi Lowe entertained guests with her beautiful music. The couple went to have their couples shoot, while the sun set over the Stellenbosch mountains.

The reception dinner was held on the lawns in front of the Manor house. They had stations that served a bunch of different food items. The idea is market-styled with pizza, pasta, burrito bar etc. Guests had a special performance from the bridal party with two dances. The bridesmaids did one and the groomsmen, it was highly entertaining. The party lasted well into the early hours, with DJ Dario creating magic on the dance floor.

We loved assisting this happy couple on their wedding day, such a special wedding, we hope their adventures carry on for years to come. Congrats and big love!
