On the 29th July 2018, Koen asked his lovely girlfriend Debbie to marry him! She said YES!

All the way from the Netherlands, this adventurous couple came to RSA on holiday. They had an action-packed trip in each province and the last stop was the Western Cape.

Koen got in touch with us as he wanted to surprise Debbie while on holiday. That date was meaningful to them as they had been dating for 7 years and 7 months. As the both love the outdoors Lion’s head viewpoint was the chosen location. Koen wanted the proposal at sunset and my goodness did they get spoilt! The sunset that evening was of the best we have had for a long time. The views from here are of Lions Head, Table Mountain, Camps Bay Beach and Clifton.

The proposal idea; they would walk along the hiking path and come to a clearing. Once here a “marry me” sign would be hung up in the trees, she would see it and he would pop the question. This all went to plan and it was the perfect proposal! Lesley captured this magical moment on film and took some spectacular photos.

We wish this happy couple all the best in their next adventures and hope they return to RSA soon for another holiday. Koen and Debbie sunset proposal was a highlight of our year! The photos, we have one word – wow!!!
