Kelly and Austen Garden Proposal

On the 24th of September 2022, Kelly and Austen got engaged!

Austen contacted us a couple of weeks ago, and knew he wanted to make a grand gesture for his big proposal! We discussed several various locations and then decided to book at Cellars Hohenort in Constantia.

We placed the marquee letters that spelled “marry me” on the lawns in front of the hedge so that as she was walking down the stairs, it would be the first thing Kelly would see. We also added some rose petals in front of the sign, for that extra special touch. Behind the marquee letters, we set up a romantic picnic, with picnic blankets, scatter cushions, flowers, rose petals, polaroid photographs, a picnic basket, and last but certainly not least, a bottle of bubbly!

On their arrival, Austen and Kelly were escorted to the Palm Arch. Austen had sneakily told Kelly that she had to dress up for a ‘work function’ – we always love hearing how our clients try to hide the surprise! As Kelly turned the corner, she saw the giant sign, and couldn’t believe her eyes. At this very moment, Amy, the talented musician (with the voice of an angel), played their favourite song – How Long with I Love You, by Ellie Goulding. They celebrated with bubbly, photos, hugs, and kisses, which was followed by an engagement photoshoot with Photographer, Sian.
