On the 26th October 2016, Tashin and Jasmitha got engaged.

This lovely couple was coming down to Cape Town for the weekend. Jas had no idea that Tashin had planned to pop the question while on holiday. The idea he loved best was arranging the proposal at an art gallery as Jas loves art. We knew of the ideal place called Casa Labia in Muizenberg.

The plan was as follows: an artist would be at the gallery, drawing when they walked in. Tashin would approach him and ask him to draw them as it was their anniversary. Obviously, the artist would say yes as planned, he draws characters of them together. After this Tashin would ask the artist to show him more of his work, at this point he would pull out a drawing he had done before the time of Minnie & Mickey mouse sitting on a bench. The words read: “Jas will you be my ever after?”  At this point Tashin would pop the question to Jas. On the day, everything went to plan and she said YES! The photographer, Lesley captured it all on film & video. Thanks to Pete from Studio Woo for the amazing drawings.

After some photos and bubbly, they enjoyed a private lunch at Casa labia restaurant. Jas loves sunflowers so we ordered in a HUGE bunch for her.

Jas and Tashin art gallery proposal was so much fun, we really loved meeting this happy couple. Wishing them all the best for an exciting future together.
