Heartfelt Surprise Proposal; old Their High School.
Some love stories begin in unexpected places, and for high school sweethearts Yoshin and Kivania, it all started in the bustling hallways of their high school. From shy glances to shared laughs during lunch, they grew together, forming a bond that only strengthened with time. Years later, Yoshin knew there was no better place to ask the biggest question of his life than where their journey first began: their old high school.
Together with Yoshin, we meticulously planned every detail, ensuring his proposal vision came to life perfectly. He arranged a private visit under the pretense of a nostalgic trip back to where it all started so they could re-enact a photograph taken during their final year. Kivania, unaware of what was about to unfold, eagerly agreed to revisit the place that had shaped their teenage years.
As they walked in through the familiar grand entrance of the school, memories came flooding back. Yoshin steered her towards the College Hall Foyer, which we had converted into a simple yet stunning statement piece that created a magical ambiance and transformed the familiar setting into something unforgettable for them. It was tastefully decorated in white, we incorporated candles and balloons as they are Kivania’s favourite. There was a display of photographs capturing their journey through the years.
When Kivania saw the setup, she gasped, her heart racing as the realization dawned on her that “today is the day”. Taking her hand, Yoshin led her along the flower-lined walkway, dropping to one knee, he looked up at her with the same adoration he had back then, only now it was deeper, shaped by years of shared dreams.
“Kivania” he said, his voice steady despite the flood of emotions, “Will you marry me?” Tears filled her eyes as she nodded with joy, YES!
The room was filled with hugs, laughter, and happy emotional tears as they celebrated this beautiful new chapter in their love story. Our newly engaged couple then went out into the rest of the property to continue their couple’s creative photoshoot in the place where it all started for them. Kivania realised how fitting it was to begin this new chapter where their love story had first taken root.
The proposal was more than just a question, it was a tribute to their journey. By choosing their high school, Yoshin honored their past while stepping boldly into their future. Life had come full circle from high school sweethearts to life partners, bound by love and shared memories. And thanks to Yoshin’s thoughtful proposal, their journey was forever intertwined with the place that started it all.
