On the 1st June 2017, Garin asked his love of his life to marry him, she said YES!

They met at University and became very good friends, somehow they both knew they wanted more and after a few years of long distance and separation, they started dating. After 4 years of being together, he finally popped the question.

Garin wanted to propose to Taryska at a wine farm. He wanted great views with an intimate supper afterwards. Waterkloof ticked all these boxes as a venue. We used the private balcony and hung up some photos of happy memories. The stage was set for the big moment. Garin asked for us to set-up a fake wine tasting so she would not be suspicious. We had placed the giant letters outside on the paving so she could not see them until they were on the balcony. We blindfolded her just in case, this was all part of the clever plan for her not to see anything out of the ordinary.

They arrived and Garin played along with the whole plan as described above. They walked onto the balcony to see a sign saying… “marry me?” Garin went down on one knee and asked that magical question. She said YES! There were laughter, tears and pure joy from them both!

Wishing this wonderful couple the very best for a long life together. Garin and Taryska giant letter proposal was so much fun to organise. We loved working on this to make it as special as we could.
