Garden proposal of Sahil and Calestine

On the 24th February 2020, Sahil proposed to his lovely girlfriend Calestine.

Sahil knew exactly what he wanted for his big day! A beautiful spot in the gardens for them to relax and enjoy some quality time together.

This wonderful couple has been together for 10 years, they meet in high school, it was about time that he popped the question. As they have been together for a long period of time, we suggested we create a photo book of their relationship journey. The pages shared all their happy memories over the last years. Starting from high school, family gatherings and special occasions. Sahil sent us all the images and text, we just designed it for him. It was a very thoughtful and happy presentation.

We booked a picnic in the gardens at The Cellars-Hohenort. This stunning venue is situated in Constantia off Brommersvlei Road. The gardens are truly magnificent, filled with trees, flowers, pools and ducks. She is a huge animal lover, so the ducks were a highlight.

Her favourite colour is purple, we incorporated this into their picnic setup as much as possible. The venue provides the food which looked delicious.

On arrival to the gardens, we walked them through the lush under growth to their picnic spot. Sahil asked Calestine to open the photo book and on the last page was a photo of her new shiny engagement ring. He asked the love of his life to marry him, she said yes.

Bronwyn captured the magical moment while hiding in the bushes. After the proposal she began the couples shoot in the gardens. Once they were done, they enjoyed a picnic all afternoon.
